The Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Tier II system enhances security and efficiency for groups and organizations, with the flexibility to revert to traditional analog systems when needed. Unlike other digital services like TETRA and NXDN, DMR provides superior coverage, making it an excellent choice for reliable, wide-area communication. Housed in a rugged IP67-rated case, the TYT MD-UV390 Plus delivers up to ~10W of power, supports 3,000 channels and 150 zones (Channel Groups), and includes Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit encryption for secure communication. In the sub-$200 price-range, DRAKÜL ARMAMENTS prefers this radio as the best option available for emergencies, survival, and security applications. Recognizing the complexity of programming DMR handheld radios, DRAKÜL ARMAMENTS has provided preloaded programming with hundreds of national emergency channels, along with up to 1,000 local amateur and emergency channels across multiple states with this radio. • Do not open the case. Opening the case or tampering with the seals will void the factory warranty and may result in water damage to the internal components. Avoid abrasive materials or chemicals that could damage the exterior. Never use high-pressure water jets or submerge the radio in water for extended periods, even though it is waterresistant. After exposure to water, dry the radio with a soft cloth to prevent moisture from accumulating around the speaker, microphone, and charging ports. Store your radio in a dry place to avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Do not leave the radio in direct sunlight, inside hot vehicles, or in freezing conditions for extended periods. Inspect the external seals, like those on charging ports or accessory jacks, for signs of wear or damage. Ensure the charging port is dry and free of debris before connecting to a charger.
